I am a newbie on this forum from SoCal. I found this forum today kind of by accident while searching on the internet. I've been reading several posts & really like the tone of this Forum. People seem really cool & helpful. I have a Yard care business where my focus is working with Property Preservation companies, so I do yard care on Bank owned properties. It has its goods and bads, I'm not getting rich, lol, but in this economy, I am grateful to be working. i'm looking forward to chatting with other members on the forums & am always looking to learn something new.

Your yard care buisness sounds like a cool thing you have running! Yeah, I hear you there, the way that our economy is right now, having a job is a greatful thing. It's nice to be able to do something that you like to do.

If you don't mind me asking, what part of SoCal? I used to live down there and go to college in the Ventura area.... I wish I was there right now!!

I live in Long Beach. Ventura is a really nice place to live. My son goes to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo so I pass Ventura every time I go to visit & return home. Ventura would be a great area to get to go to College!

I bet your son likes it there a lot, San Luis Obispo is nice area as well. I'm sure he pays a visit to Pismo as much as he can!

Yeah, I miss living down there and have a lot of great memories from it. Everything from the atmosphere, to the beach to riding the Malibu canyons and more make me wish I was there. Those were the days and would like to move back down one day.
