This mower I just got , it seemed to start & run , engine losing a lil power,a Kawasaki /20 hp, but now it won’t start unless pour gas in carb o start fluid, but i noticed why you pouring an startin if you hold key in start position it keeps running when you legg th go of key it dies while you have key in start position it s not trying to start , sounds normal ,any ideasl

I read this as it attempts to run with the key in "start' but stalls when released. If this is true, then something is grounding out the magneto. Pull the wire to the magneto and try to start. it runs, check the wire for a ground with the key in the run position. If there, the wire is shorted to ground somewhere. Follow it from the key switch to the mag, or just run a new one. Usually connects to the 'M' connection of the key switch.
