Just picked up a freebie today. Don’t know much about this one yet. Went and picked it up after I finished clearing out our 6-8 inches of snow this morning. Haven’t looked for a model number yet, but I know it has smartstow and has a ready start 7.25hp Briggs and Stratton. Guessing just a carb cleaning or at worst replacing. Can anyone tell me roughly an age? I know smartstow isn’t super old.

Judging by the oldest video I found on Smartstow (2013) would guess less then 10 years old. lol Looking at the numbers on the engine might narrow it down closer.

Guessing just a carb cleaning or at worst replacing.

Some of those SmartStow mowers have a Service Bulletin related to issues with the carburetor and it gets replaced... Check with a Toro dealer... “See bulletin DSB-113/DSB-114”

Finally got time to tackle this one Saturday. Carb had some of the nastiest green sticky crap all over everything. I didn't even try to clean it. New one coming today. Will do the swap and with any luck it will be all she needs!
