Seriously looks good. Number one rule when getting a tractor, COMPRESSOR!! We use a pancake compressor filled before we leave! Saved us a TON!
We never drive them on, had too many close calls in past, just muscle it on now.
Number one thing is a good cleaning to see what you have. Sounds like a lot of sitting issues, deck pulleys tight/seized, gas in oil. Carb clean and new battery for sure. WD-40 on all the joints and look for damage. See it looks like possible missing deck spindle cover on left side. Think you got yourself a good first machine restore!!
