It's been a long time since you acquired your 2cycle robin snapper...how has it performed for you over the years?

Hey where are you guys finding the Robin 2 stroke motors?? Were they on other mowers?? Do they have a long enough shaft. I am sure Snappers take a longer shaft than other cheap mowers.

All of the robin 2 strokes I've acquired have come on the snappers they originally came on. In fact I've only had two, including the one that I currently have. They have been rare to find around here at least and I've never seen one locally just by itself. Have found them on eBay though a few times, engine only. As for the shaft length I can't say how they compare to the cheap mowers, and I should know their exact length but I forget. I think little over 3".
