Hi,
I just bought a used 2005 eXmark Metro 36" belt drive walk behind.
My plan is to change the drive wheel tires with the new ones that I just bought. Looking for details on how to do the job.
Thanks,
Tim

Welcome!

From the photos that I was able to pull up on Google, it appears that all you would need to do is pull the plastic center cap covering the end of the axle where there should be a "C"-clip that you remove. After the C-clip is removed via a pair of ring pliers, the wheel should pull right off of the axle.

Welcome Tim!

Did you get both the tires and rims or just the tires?

If only the tires it can be a barrel of fun to get the old ones off and the new ones on the rims. An extra pair of hand comes in handy when prying the tires off the rim and putting new ones on. Also if they are tubeless it can be a bit of a trick to get them first seated on the sidewall beads to hold air. I use a ratchet strap around the tire to pull the center of it in toward the rim. This helps to flare out the sidewall to help set the bead so they will take air. Only put a couple pounds in, then take off the strap and air up to full pressure.

Mark,
Just the tires - thought I'd save some $ as the wheels seem OK. I have removed the C rings now my problem is trying to get the wheels off the axles. Thanks for your insights.
Best,
Tim

Go the easiest route first using some penetrating oil and let it soak for a day or so. A silent prayer might not hurt either. ;)

Your not alone with that problem. Here's a thread over at MTF discussing ways to get them loose.

Getting LT wheels off axle - MyTractorForum.com - The Friendliest Tractor Forum and Best Place for Tractor Information

On a trailer I have for my tractor I finally gave up and managed to change the tires with the rims still on the trailer. It was either that or cut off the rims and buy new.
