not any safety switches

I had the same problem. letting my foot off the break kills the engine. With engine running, engaging the blade kills the engine. Have replaced all 3 safety switches and the blade engage switch. Any more help here? At my wits end!

About the only thing left you can do now is follow all of the wiring from the switches to the engine compartment looking for any spots that look either broken or shorted to the frame.

Better yet would be to get a Volt-Ohm-Meter, then measure the resistance (continuity) at the wires in the engine compartment while manually activating the switches. You might be able to narrow it down to one switch and the associated wiring that way. Emphasis on the word might.

Maybe it's a relay(s) that the switches operate that is the problem?
