I'm working on this Echo Blower, model PB-250LN. It has no spark at all. This is what I've done. Checked the primary and secondary sides of the ignition coil (got the specs from Echo). Tested good. Cleaned the coil and magneto contacts and made sure the coil spacing was correct. Changed the woodruff key. Checked the on/off switch for continuity. Tested good. Changed spark plug. Still no fire at all. What am I missing? Thanks!

check for spark with the kill wire unplugged from the coil.
And, i do not know if this is true for the smaller 2 stroke coils, but coils like the Briggs magnetron etc that have the integral timing chip, those can throw off multimeter ohm readings, so i rarely bother checking coil ohms.
Coils usually either
Work
Do Not work
Work until they get hot
Or work with the kill wire unplugged, if that wire is shorted to ground.
