A friends tiller was getting temperamental to start and I was asked to look at it. Figured it would be a carb issue but it turned out while I was trying to get the carb apart I found out the fuel lines had broken when they pass through into the tank. Made a run to Oreilly for some fuel line and all is well.
The fuel line that worked for me was Prime Line #7-081502 1/8"ID X 1/4"OD
Three bucks and some change at Oreilly. Tried Menards and Home depot but the stuff I saw was either big like for a riding mower or to small for a weed trimmer.
Yep, ethanol kills fuel lines in double quick time. I'm not even sure if ethanol treatment entirely rectifies the problem. Thanks for sharing the parts info! :cool
