I am an old new guy and have a Dixon 3303 ZTR mower in good shape, but need a mulch plug for the machine. Prices are outrageous ($90+) from conventional dealers. Does anyone have a suggestion about where to find a mulch plug (used or otherwise) for a decent price - or do you have a suggestion on how to do the job with another idea?????

Use this thought at your own risk, on an old Jacobsen rider I used to have I fastened a piece of hardware cloth over the chute when grinding up leaves in the fall. It did not work half bad given the mower was not designed to be a mulcher.
