I've been working on a Subaru pressure washer for a friend. The pump had stopped working. Upon removing it, I could easily see that the key way was damaged on the crankshaft of the motor. Other than this, the motor is in excellent shape, and runs very well. I hesitate to put a new pump in, because I fear that the key would simply move out of its space because of the damage. Any suggestions as to how this could be repaired without having to replace the crankshaft? Thanks!
