Here are some of my Craftsman Mowers

I have the 6.5 and the one in the middle here at the house. Both motors blew up. The one bought in 07 bent the crank and the 99 I don't know. Has good compression and is firing but I believe it is bent too. I seen oil at the bottom and the blade is ever so slightly crooked.

See it now. I also like the loos of them. Whats that tractor in Sears that is a twin to the JD 318? Now thats what I want.

I think that might be the SS18 but I am not a Sears expert so I could be wrong.

Don't know what it is but I definetly want one. I seen it on MTF and somebody said it was like the twin of the JD 318. Real beast. I also wouldn't mind having any of the d series WH's. Little small tanks. John Deeres around here flow in the $4,000 range with 100-500 hours on them. Crafstman lawn tractors, you get them for a dime a dozen. My grandfather has one and it tears up on him left and right.

I have a 6.5 one here with electric start. It doesn't have a battery on it though so can't try it. Yard sale for $25. She said it wouldn't run. Brought it home fired right up. ok???? Oh well. But those batteries I hear are real high so back to yanking and pulling.

It should last you a long time. I abuse my Craftsman push mower and it has lasted so far 5yrs with me and it is at least 12yrs old.

Older craftsman are real good mowers. The newer ones i have problems with. Not me persoanlly but my family. Something always with the deck. Never have I heard a bad thing from a older craftsman.
