Control Levers so Hard to push/pull

I bought a new to me ZD326S. I got on that and it was so hard to push the levers to move and back up.. Going straight my lines were crooked because it was so hard to keep straight..

I have been reading up on what it takes but not really found what I need to do..

MY Exmark is like power steering compared to this on..

Any help?
