Nice to have the mower up where you can get at it instead of having to work on the floor.
I agree, as I get older I learn to appreciate convenience. I have an old aluminum platform that was part of some stairs for a mobile home that I use for push mowers and its just big enough for a small snapper rer. I think you can see it in the background of one of the pics.
Off to one side of my wooden work bench I cut a hole the size of a large metal coffee can. Cut a lot of 1/4" slits in the rim of the can and bent tabs out. The can hangs in the hole as a bench top trash. Easy to pull out and dump. I also drilled a couple of bolt patterns and can mount a vertical engine to the bench after removing the coffee can.
Thats pretty slick and handy, especially when working on a messy project. I forgot to mention the idea of bolt holes for holding the engine in place. There were a couple of holes already in the Workmate that lined up to the flange on the engine I was working on.
