I vaguely remember reading about or seeing somewhere about a product to put on your lawn to take care of fleas/ticks/bugs etc. Does anyone have any personal knowlege on any products and how/if they work, dog/child friendly and anything else I haven't thought of? Thanks in advance!

Diatomite is also used as an insecticide, due to its physico-sorptive properties. The fine powder absorbs lipids from the waxy outer layer of insects' exoskeletons, causing them to dehydrate.[9] Arthropods die as a result of the water pressure deficiency, based on Fick's law of diffusion. Ortho Bug b Gone works well. I Used the granual version you put in your fertilizer spreader last year. Worked will for ants and Mole crickets.
