Hi,

My broadmoor goes twice as fast in reverdse as it does forward. I was told i needed to adjust the pedal. How do i go about this?

Benjamin, maybe post the model number of the machine so we can Google search it? I never had your model machine and don't know. You can also go under it and locate the linkage going from shifter to trans and trace it back. Is the machine equipped with the hinged rear fender? Also where is the shifter, by console? I know there is a adjustment for creap on those on shifter, we had two Simplicitys like that!

Ok, found a parts manual. Here is link.
Simplicity Broadmoor / 1600 / 2600 Manual (Page 24 of 65)

On page 24, I can see it is petal drive. The linkage from petal to trans looks like it has a slot in it. This would be adjustment.
Also looked and found manual I think?
Identification Numbers - Simplicity Broadmoor 2600 Series Operator's Manual [Page 4]
Page 28 shows adjusting brake, which may help too.
Hey I am looking at the chat could you give me the number of the linkage? Is it number 3, 5 or 10?
