I have a craftsman 21"/6.75hp push. What's the absolute BEST blade for it? My backyard grass grows super fast (septic field) and is super thick.

IMO you've got 2 ways you can go with this....

Get a good Hi-vac blade that will lift, cut, and broadcast your grass clippings. Depending on which way your mow up and down rows where you will be mowing back over your grass this might not be the best choice. If you discharge away from the un-mowed grass then it will do the job nicely.

On the second hand if you mow like most due up and down rows you will be needing a good mulching blade or bagging blade that will help you cut the grass into finer pieces so it's easier to run over. Below are 2 links for craftsman blades that do just these 2 things.

Hope this helps. Again this is the way I would go. Others know more about this than I do.

Be sure and let us know how it works out for you when you install and put the blade to use. Might help the next person with the same question

Good luck and Happy cutting! :2th:
