Before I start takin things apart....

Figgerd I would ask the snapper heads opinion ? Friend brought in this LT 12 , seems to be in pretty fair shape , good compression, getting fuel , but no spark. Seems like a bit of work to follow the plug leads into the shroud.
Is there a common culprit with this model ? ,anyone know of a downloadable service manuals ?

If you can locate the model number on the engine you can look up what manual applies to it and either purchase it from Briggs or maybe find one floating on the net someplace by Googling it.

Not sure though if they are an exact match to the series you have. Not much engine info in them though.

I have determined there is very weak and intermitent spark, I will persue some component testing and follow up.
(with the help of the service manual ! :howdy:)
Turned out to be the safety interlock switch under the seat $10. part and she lives again. :party
