I have a combined B&S repair manual for all engines manufactured by Briggs from 1918-1983. The book is in PDF format and anyone who wishes to have it is welcome. There are a lot of old engine specs available here. Some of you may have the manuals that cover the older types however all are included in one pdf file here. Contact me PM and I will send it to you via e-mail. I retired in 1995 and worked on and sold outdoor power equipment for 30 years. Was the first mech to pass B&S Master Service test in St. Louis area when it used to be much more difficult than it is now. Unfortunately I am experiencing early onset dementia so the memory is good for somethings and not so good on others. Anyway I have access to a lot of service and parts material from several OEMs and will share when I can. My archive includes complete micro-fische for many makes of chain saw, mowers, generators, lawn and garden tractors and most anything you would work on in an outdoor power equip business. I also was a certified Merc/Mariner mech for outboards and outdrives through 1997. Am currently looking for a micro-fische reader/printer so I can post the diagrams from the fische I have if anyoned needs that kind of information.
