Need a little help in determining where Item no. 11 [return spring] gets attached. It's clear where it hooks onto Item no. 50 [belt keeper] but not sure where it attaches to the deck to tension the drive belt.

I have a front wheel drive similar to that. On mine, there is an upset / bump out stamped into the deck that it hooks into. It can be a workout to get it hooked. I use a hooked end pick to pull it.

Welcome to MLF David. Page 14 of the owner's manual shows the hole in the deck that the spring attaches to. The spring releases belt tension. I hope this helps.
