I purchased this mower about a month ago and mowed my and my moms yard maybe a total of 8-10 times. Between the 2 yards I am dealing with St Augustine and Bahia.

My problem has been that it leaves uncut grass or in the Bahia the strands with the seeds just dont get cut. It does the same thing if I mow slow or fast.

I cut the St Augustine at 3.5" (which seems about a 1/4" to low) and the Bahia at 2". Is that a good height?

Do they make ablad that lifts higher? Would a mulching blade that discharges work better? or should I just sharpen the one that it came with?

Looking at the parts diagram I found on Toro's website it looks like there is only one blade available from Toro. It is a combination mulch and discharge blade. You might be able to find an after market blade to fit it but whether that would make any improvement or not I do not know. Those are two types of turf grass that I'm totally unfamiliar with here in Ohio.
