10 Years of Sears on Microfilm

This past Wednesday, I drove to Birmingham, AL and made use of their library's Sears Catalogs on microfilm. The quality isn't all that great in spots, but it sure brings back some great memories. Enjoy, everyone!

These are pretty cool, thanks for the contribution. I'll make a Sticky out of this. There are guys who collect manuals like these and they'll love them.
It's neat to look back at those old ads and catalogs to see the prices. Also brings back some memory's. :cool

I'm one of those guys...just wish they were in color. And if anyone has some old Craftsman mower pamphlets and stuff, please PM me...I'm still looking for a couple.

I'll take a look through my "archives" and see what I have, I've been known to hoard some stuff like that away :bag:
Those are great, thanks for posting them!
Nice post! I love looking at the old catalogs. FYI for scanning or copying, if they can be done in "grayscale" it will always bring out more detail in images.
Great post!!!!! :ditto:
I have a 1984 GT-18 and this was first I could "see" what it was supposed to look like! Cool to see!!

Still "broken" is there any way to fix this, or is this great source dead for good? :tango_face_sad:

You can google and view a lot of those old books online but can take some digging.

Where can I find old Sears catalogs?
