757 Ztrack - hydraulic fan replacement

Greetings -

My 757 has started losing fan blades from the hydraulic pump cooling fan just in front of the pump. I've got a new one in hand now, cheap enough at $8.50 but the workflow to replace it looks not precisely simple- the cage housing this fan appears to pivot open but the hydraulic reservoir is right in the way -

For those who have done this repair, how did you go about it - do you have to drain and remove the reservoir to get the room to work or did you unbolt the pump and move it upwards?

Appreciate any advice-

Petrolero (sorry fellow indeed as of the last few weeks)...
