Kohler CV16 valves

Anyone have the valve adjustment specs for a Cv16s-43513?
I'm running a wix filter and Kohler 10W30 oil,
I started the tractor one day, it ran great. Next morning it was cold out 40f or so, I started it and it was clacking, coming from the head/valve cover area., And it's still doing it, even after about 10 minutes of running with the deck on.
Fresh filter and oil.

Just off the top of my head, I recall having a Kohler 22HP in a Craftsman that both heads had issues with the rocker arm bolts where they stripped out on their own and I ended up HeliCoiling them.
They ended up popping out all the way and I had a set of bent push rods to contend with. May not be related but I thought I would mention it just in case that is starting to happen with yours.

Hydraulic lifters pumped up. My CV 15 has done that intermittent since new. Think I'm over 400 hrs now. I use the recommended kohler branded oil and filter for it and it has always been changed about every 30-40 hours. I never figured out what changed that one time it would be noisy as heck on startup for a several minutes and another 5 times, or more would be quiet almost instantly to a minute or so. Wonder if maybe it depends on where the engine stops on shutdown how much oil leaks out of them or not?
