I have a 2 year old Husqvara ADW mower that just starting shutting off when I start to engage the drive. Any one know what will cause this?? It just started happening yesterday. It starts up but when I go the engage the drive, it shuts off.

You should have a electrical diagram in your manual, or if not you can find you model on line and download it. I would look to see what switches are activated when you push in your forward drive. My Husqvarna has a pedal for forward and another one for reverse. You might even try disconnecting you seat safety switch to see if that helps. I would think it's an electrical issue that your going to have to trace down. motorman

that is going to be the reverse with blades engaged kill switch, you need to look into that circuit to see whats going on.

EDIT: ok, i see you say its a walk behind so in that case the drive belt may be jammed or the gear is broken stopping the motor would be where i would look first

You can only learn if you ask the question, so there are no dumb questions.
