Craftsman T1600 model 247.203742. Got deck off, put on new belt, put deck back on. It works! But only on the highest cutting level:-( it has levels 1-5. Five it works fine but when I lower it to 4 it loses some power. I can tell the blades are still spinning but not at full force. Blade will only turn fast enough to cut grass on the top setting . On the other 4 blade height settings, the blades barely turn, if at all. What did I break?

I fixed it! The belt I had us ed d was too slack. Fresh belt on. Works!
