Hello. Im a newby to the lawnmower area, sadly introduced to it by the death of my 93 year old dad, who was an accomplished mechanic. He fixed everything, mainly aircraft of all types, but also cars, watches, motors of all sorts, and he loved lawnmowers and garden machinery of all sorts. My brother and I inherited his three workshops and tools, and in his garage, four riding mowers (a John Deere, two Craftsman, and an old David Bradly that is 80% restored), and five push mowers! Oh yes, and his his acre and a half yard. Anyway, were learning, and well be seeking advice from you experienced members. Thanks, Randy

Welcome to MLF Randy. Sorry for the loss of your father, sounds like he was a talented person.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
