Cool Charged up for battery powered lawnmowers

More options for battery powered lawnmowers are on the way for 2017, including a wave of self-propelled walk-behinds equipped with the new Element V Electric variable speed drives from General Transmissions. The new drives delivers true, mow-at-your-own-pace convenience for battery driven machines. Users can adjust their ground speed on the fly, slowing down or speeding up as needed. The drive motor flanges directly to the transmission, allowing for adjustable speed control. Blade speed is controlled by a separate motor. The drives are designed to handle 36 volt, 56 volt and 72 volt power packs -- enough power to meet most homeowners' needs! Take a look at the attached illustrations to see what these lightweight, maintenance-free drives look like. As with all of our products, these drives were tested extensively before we released them for production -- so you know they're reliable!

Cool stuff! Advancements in lawn-mowing technology. Looking forward to seeing more.
