Welcome to the General Transmissions forum; we’re glad you’re here – we hope to be your source for information and discussions about all things related to the use of our automatic, continuously variable transmissions in lawn tractors.
General Transmissions is one of the world’s leading makers of transmissions for outdoor power equipment such as lawn tractors, lawn mowers and snow blowers – in fact, we’ve shipped more than 20 million transmissions to the industry to date. Our customers include some of the largest and best-known lawn equipment manufacturers in the world.
We’re here to help, so if you have a question about our automatic CVTs in lawn tractors, fire away. We’ll do our best to answer your question. (We can only speak for our products, of course.) When inquiring about one of our transmissions, please include the make, model and model year of your lawn tractor, if possible.
Curious about CVTs? Check out our page on CVT Essentials at CVT Essentials | General Transmissions.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Curious, do you manufacture any aftermarket replacements such as a "drop in" replacement for the TuffTorq K46 in my John Deere?
