2017 Snapper Z360 zero turn

Hello all, just got this zero turn and am having fuel issues, it has the 25 hp Briggs twin, seems like when the fuel tank gets down to half way the motor starves for fuel and cuts out 1 cylinder, the fuel filter empties out, I have to fill it back up so it runs on both again, I replaced the filter, all lines seem open, these have a breather line with a filter to vent the tank. I'm stumped.......

Welcome to the forum!

Does the fuel line run close to anyplace where it could be getting hot enough to partly vapor lock? Only other thought might be if it has a fuel pump that maybe it is weak. If the pump runs off a vacuum line to a valve cover, check that the vacuum lines is not cracked.
