Jacobsen Lawn King

Went to a show last year that had an auction on a Saturday. Didn't see anything that interested me very much inside the barn so we went outside..... and there it was. Kind of exciting for me since I didn't have one yet. And when I saw it I told Bob IN that I HAD to have it. I told him I didn't care if I had to pay (STUPID MONEY) to get it. Well we got it after a bidding war broke out between Bob and some guy who just wanted the gas tank.... and I thought nope not going to happen.
Its rough I'm not going to lie, rust in the gas tank pretty bad, its stuck and the paint is pretty wore off. But I was not letting it go to someone who wanted just the gas tank.

Cool machine! It's great it went to a collector vs. getting parted out.

It should actually be an Estate 24" and not a Lawn King, although during that same time period both models shared the same very special grill-hood. Does the trim strip on top of the hood read Estate?

That's my fault. For some reason I was thinking it was a lawn king. Now that you mention it I do remember seeing the estate on the chrome strip.
