Toro 22" recycle mower converted to Propane

This mower is about 8 years old and was given to me by my son with only
about 15 hours on it.It was lent out to his neighbor and brought is back saying
it would not start. He took it away to get repaired and was quoted about 250.00 to repair it. It had a bent crankshaft so he b rout it home and told me
about it. I asked what he was going to do with the old one,he said throw it in the trash he had all ready ordered a new one. He said i could have it if i wanted it. So that is where i got it from.
So the first part of November i started trying to convert it to propane.
If i can down laod a picture i will do it.[IMG][/IMG]

I appreciate the comments.
Yes, 8 years ago i put in a new crank shaft lower seal and gaskets, didn't even pull the
piston out being it was so new.
I have it running on propane and was surprised haw quiet and easy to start.
So far it has started at 25 degrees and at 72, but it takes 3 pulls every time.
I am not bright enough to get a picture and hear it running.
We have about 25 knock out roses and i trimmed them all and lined up all the debrea
on the lawn and mulched it, then put the beggar on and picked it all up.

Mark

It is hard to say at this time, but yesterday i had a pound can with four ounces in so i put
it back on and timed it and it run at govern speed for 40 min. No load. I had to leave
and pulled it off, but is was almost gone. This mower is only 6.75 HP.
When i get better information i will post it..................Gordon

Nice work there, Gordon. I have a conversion in mind myself. Could you share some info about the regulator?
