YTH 2448 Electrical Question

Hi ya'll. I have a 2008 Husqvarna YTH 2448 (96013000700) that I have done a lot of work to. Recently had to replace the wiring harness and forgot to check and see what wires went where as far as hour meter and light switch so I was wondering if anyone has one and can tell me the wire colors to each of those 2 parts. Got everything else hooked up and working. Also, anyone added any type of LED lights to this type of tractor and if so, how? I kinda stink at reading wiring diagrams and feel like the ones supplied by Husqvarna make even less sense than most.

far as i can recall the hour meter gets the blue wire, i "think" the other wire (ground wire) is black but it gets powered all the time when the key is on, it does not run off the alternator like with outboard engines.

if the lights have an on/off switch then any time the key is on they are on unless the switch turns them off. im pretty sure the lights run off the same blue wire circuit as the hour meter. if the lights dont have an on/off switch then they connect to the alternator orange power wire but after the engine main plug it turn into blue wire and a green wire for ground

in short you cant go wrong if you tap off the key switch power to feed both

You can only learn if you ask the question, so there are no dumb questions.

Keakar,

Thanks! I have been beating my head on the proverbial wall for 2 days now. Took pics as I disconnected the old harness, but apparently missed these 2 items so these 4 wires I have hanging loose were throwing me for a loop. Didn't need pics for the voltmeter since the old harness and old meter had been together so long, they refused to come apart so voltmeter was also replaced
