Tearing the engine down and Valve adjustment

So I have a Roper 11hp riding lawnmower. Today I decided to finally tear the engine down and rebuild or at least put new gaskets on. The lawn mower sat for about 5 years and started right up. But there was oil coming out of the oil seal on top, oil seal on bottom, oil seal around filler tub and the oil pan gaskets. Plus the valve cover had some leaking there to. So ya it was real fun getting it out. Flywheel wasn't that hard to get off or the pullys on the bottom. I still have to clean all the oil off of it. As there is about a inch of it all around the engine.

Now I also want to adjust the valves. I have done it on my other lawn mower and snowblower so it isn't that hard to do. Does anyone. Know of any place I can get a shop manual or does anyone no the valve lash adjustments. Model # 252707 Briggs and Stratton

Anyone ever you brake cleaner to get oil of a engine. Seems to work pretty good. Thinking after I get the belts out of the way doing it to under the riding lawn mower also. It is cover in engine oil

Brake clean is my go-to cleaner for degreasing and cleaning carbs. It's a little expensive to use, but works great.
