Just bought a 1974 LB 7263

I couldn't pass it up. runs great, looks even better.
I'll be doing a nice restoration on it once my Dunlap is complete.

I'll need wheels, and a starter grip, but beyond that, it's pretty nice. Came with the owner's manual that had the original receipt tucked inside. Out the door cost was 130 dollars in 1974!

I like the white shroud, white chute models such as my 5273 from 1975. That mower looks real nice! I have the self propelled green shroud cousin of that mower from 1973. Lawn-man from MTF is selling the PVC covers on eBay. That's my picture in his listing and he provides my instruction sheet. He also created a video showing the installation process. NOS triangle wheels will be hard to come by if you are looking for new. May be possible to find a good used set of wheels otherwise aftermarket or Toro/Lawnboy new style are available. Looking forward to seeing the progress. Bill

Thanks Bill.

I decided to try it out yesterday and I mowed the back yard. I have to say, mowing with a lightweight mower is kinda nice! My main machine is a LB 10734 with the Kohler engine. It's a heavy mower, but this 2 cycle is a breeze to waltz around the yard! Almost makes me want to sell the biggin and keep the old one...

To me, mowing with a lightweight D or F series push Lawnboy just makes mowing a pleasure. I would keep that one and put it to use. Bill

A beautiful mower there and having the owners manual and receipt makes it that much more awesome. Great score!

If I have some time tonight, I'll take a few pictures of the paperwork and post here. It's not in the best shape. It got wet at some point and was in a bag, so many pages got stuck together.

Well, after finishing the Dunlap, I finally got started on the Lawn Boy. I stripped it down and bead blasted the deck. Primed it and painted it Grabber Green. Put a few coats of Clear on it and started the reassembly. It's slowly coming along and I hope to have it done by the end of the month.

I also included a few pictures of the literature, owner's manual, warranty card and sales receipt that came with this gem...
