Default Lawn Boy 6100

Here is one of my oldest mowers a 1957 Lawn Boy 6100 Automower. 18" cut C-40 engine.

I noticed the hinged section at the top of the handle and what looks like rear wheel drive gears. I assume the name "Automower" must be due to it being self propelled?

1957 was the first year that Lawn Boy made a self propelled mower.

Default Lawn Boy 8150

Hello !
my first antique Lawn Boy !
Model is 8150 (21 ") with engine C-40 . Serial # is rusty but start with 720...
Automower ,made in Peterborough,(OMC) Canada
Anyone knows something about this model ? Seems to be the brother of the 6100 ( year 1957 maybe ??)
